How to Clean Pax3: Take apart and soak

As the only components that require soaking are the mouthpiece and oven screen, begin by taking off the oven lid and the silicone mouthpiece. Take your long stirrer or pick and insert it through the vapor stream, the mouthpiece end, and the metal oven screen. After that, immerse the oven screen and silicone mouthpiece in rubbing alcohol for approximately sixty minutes. Put that off till later. PAX says not to wet the oven lid.

1. Clear the oven and vapor passage.

As those soak, move a pipe cleaner along the vapor route in a back-and-forth motion after dipping it in rubbing alcohol. Repeat this as needed since some messy situations could require many passes. After that, use a paper towel or cotton swab coated in rubbing alcohol to remove any sticky residue from your PAX oven. After a short use, a little discoloration in the oven is quite normal, so don’t worry.

Lastly, use a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol to clean any residue or sticky gunk from the mouthpiece end and the oven lid. Before putting everything back together, rinse the leftover parts in water once they have finished soaking.

2. Reassemble it and do a burnoff.

Reinstall the mouthpiece and oven screen in your PAX after they have had time to dry out. Then, to remove any last remnants from the oven and vapor route, switch on your PAX, set it to the maximum temperature (four red petals), and let it run for the duration of the session. And that’s it!

Some advice for a cleaner vape

Spend a few seconds after each session brushing and clearing the oven and oven lid of debris to extend the life of your PAX. As your herbs cool down and harden, mess accumulates, so make sure to clear it out while it’s warm. You’ll be in fantastic shape if you make this a habit!
