How to Make a Slime Bubble – With our new fluffy slime recipe, things went a little crazy, so I figured I’d give it a few weeks before stirring things up with another fantastic slime recipe. We’re bringing you bubble slime this time! A playful, pliable slime that can be used to actually blow bubbles!
This recipe was really the result of a “failed attempt” to make a crackly slime, which we’re still trying to figure out. Nevertheless, it turned out really cool in its own unique manner, and it kept for weeks in a container, so I don’t consider it a failure at all.
We decided to just play about with the slime after noticing that it wasn’t as crunchy or crackly as we had hoped. At one point, Ella picked up a straw and began blowing bubbles! Ella found it really entertaining to try to blow these touchable and stretchable bubbles as big as she could without popping them, then to grip and stretch them while they were still inflated.
This slime serves a dual purpose by providing excellent sensory stimulation and creating amazing bubbles. It is particularly beneficial for children who require prolonged breathing exercises, such as those with anxiety disorders or asthma.
Although most thin slime recipes, including our rainbow slime recipe, have the potential to blow bubbles, I really like how this slime held its texture for such a long time. (While other slimes occasionally require adjusting or kneading after being stored for some time.)

- Five pumps of the foaming hand soap should be added at a time; mix thoroughly after each addition.

- One tablespoon of liquid starch at a time, with thorough stirring in between, should be added gradually. With every addition, pay attention to how your slime comes together and pulls away from the container’s sides.

- Once you are finished kneading or playing with the slime, return it to the container and completely cover the top with a handful of shaving cream.
- After securely closing the lid, let the slime remain for two days at room temperature.
- Take off the cover when you’re ready to play and get messy!
- Breathe through a straw inserted into the slime to create the bubbles. You can touch and stretch the bubbles a lot.
- You may store this slime for weeks by just putting it back in the container when not in use.
